Gratitude and Stress Study
I worked as a research assistant under Dr. Christopher Oveis at University of California, San Diego from 2016 to 2017.
I helped recruit and conduct the study with over 200 participants. The study is about the effect of gratitude expression on stress and performance. Each dyad consists of first year students living in the same suite of their residence halls. Each experiment consists of surveys, physiological equipment (BIOPAC, ECG, ICG, and respiration monitors, and the blood pressure monitor), and recorded interactions of the participants. Each session is transcribed and behaviorally coded.
The findings and data of this study have not yet been published.
